Venue and Seating Information

Madison Square Garden is a multi-level indoor arena with a circular bowl layout and four main seating levels: Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level. For basketball, the center 100 Level sideline sections are a leading choice, pairing a closer view with a clear perspective across the court.

The 200 Level offers an elevated angle that can make it easier to follow plays as they develop across the floor. The 300 Level is a more budget-conscious option with a full-court overview, though it sits farther from the action. Fans prioritizing close-up detail may find the highest corner seats less suitable.

Parking Information

On-site parking is very limited around the Garden, and Midtown traffic can build quickly before and after games. Nearby commercial garages near Penn Station and 8th Avenue are convenient, while garages farther toward Herald Square or Chelsea may offer a less expensive alternative with a 10–15-minute walk.

• Nearby commercial garages: Typically a 1–5-minute walk; event rates are approximately $30–$80 and may rise with demand.
• Herald Square or Chelsea garages: Generally a 10–15-minute walk; rates are approximately $20–$50, depending on event demand.
• Street parking: Limited and subject to strict restrictions, making it an unreliable plan for game day.

Arriving early or considering public transportation can help avoid the uncertainty of last-minute parking. Penn Station is beneath the venue, and post-event rideshare pickups may face delays amid heavy traffic.
